We continue making sure recess is fun, safe, and inclusive for everyone. We hosted a Recess Reset for soccer, purchased a volleyball net for the field, and started a NEW student leadership opportunity. Students in grades 2nd-5th will be elected to help the recess supervisors manage equipment. Way to go leaders! |
Our Character trait for November is RESPONSIBILITY. Responsibility means being dependable, making good choices, and taking accountability for your actions. A responsible citizen looks out for the well being of others and understands we all have a part to play in making the world a better place. Talk to your child about the responsibilities they have in your family and how they can act in responsible ways in the classroom, hallway, lunchroom, and out at recess. |
